New Patient Special
Enjoy a Brighter,More Beautiful Smile

Cosmetic Focus with a Natural Look
We specialize in smile makeovers that look elevated but believable, not “stamped on.”
Visual Process
You see previews, temporaries, and options at every step and have real input in the design.

Same-Day Technology
CEREC same-day veneers and crowns shorten treatment for many cases and reduce time in temporaries.
Teeth + Face Mindset
We think about how your teeth, lips, and facial features work together. When it makes sense, we can coordinate cosmetic injectable treatments or lip filler later to support your new smile.

What Veneers Can Fix
Discolored or Stained Teeth
Some stains don’t respond well to whitening, such as:
- Deep medication stains
- Darkening after root canal treatment
- Long-term discoloration from age
Porcelain veneers cover these stains completely and stay bright for years with good care. We help you choose a shade that fits your goals, whether that’s a soft, natural white or a more glamorous, photo-ready shade.
Chipped, Worn, or Uneven Teeth
Teeth can wear down or chip from grinding, clenching, or everyday use.
Veneers can:
- Rebuild worn edges
- Smooth chips and rough areas
- Make short teeth match neighboring teeth
We design each veneer to fit your bite and create a smooth line when you smile.
Gaps and Spacing
If you have small gaps but don’t want braces or aligners, veneers can close spaces in a shorter time frame.
We design veneers that are slightly wider or reshaped to:
- Close visible gaps
- Improve symmetry
- Keep your smile line looking natural, not crowded
Misshapen or Small Teeth
Some teeth are naturally smaller, pointed, or irregular.
Veneers can:
- Make these teeth match the others
- Create a more consistent, even smile
- Balance how your teeth fit your lips and face
You’ll see options on screen and in your temporaries before finalizing the look.
Am I a Good Candidate for Veneers?
Veneers work best when we’re building on a healthy foundation. During your consultation, we look at much more than “Can we put porcelain on these teeth?”—we look at whether veneers will be safe, stable, and truly match what you want.
You may be a strong candidate for veneers if:
Your teeth and gums are healthy
No active gum infections, untreated cavities, or loose teeth in the area we’re treating. If we do see issues, we’ll talk about fixing those first so your veneers have a solid base.
You want to change what you see in the front teeth
Veneers are ideal if you’d like to improve color, shape, chips, worn edges, small gaps, or minor misalignment in the “smile zone” rather than your full bite.
You’re ready for a long-term solution
Veneers are a bonded treatment, which means we remove a thin layer of enamel and commit to covering those teeth long-term. With good care, they can last many years, but they are not considered reversible.
Your bite and grinding habits are manageable
If you clench or grind, we’ll look closely at your bite and may pair veneers with a night guard to protect them. Very heavy grinding does not rule veneers out, but it may change how we plan your case.
If you’re not quite ready—for example, if you have gum disease, significant decay, or a bite that needs adjusting first—we won’t “push” veneers. Instead, we’ll outline a clear path: what to treat now, what to stabilize, and when veneers could safely come into the picture.
The goal is not just a pretty result today, but a smile that holds up well over time.

What to Expect When You Choose Veneers
Consultation and Planning
We check your teeth and gums to be sure veneers are safe and appropriate. Any needed health-focused work (like treating decay or gum inflammation) comes first. Then we design your cosmetic plan together.
Tooth Preparation and Digital Impressions
We gently remove a very thin layer of enamel so the veneer can sit flush with your natural tooth. Local anesthetic keeps you comfortable.
We then:
- Take digital scans instead of goopy impressions
- Send the design to our CEREC system or partner lab
Temporary Veneers
If your case is not same-day, we place temporary veneers so you can leave with a complete smile.
You’ll get:
- Instructions on how to care for them
- A chance to live with your new look and share feedback
Final Veneer Placement
At your final visit, we try in your permanent veneers and check:
- Fit and comfort
- Shade match and overall look
- How your bite feels when you tap and chew
If you and Dr. Zurcher love the result, we bond the veneers permanently and polish them. You go home with a transformed smile and clear guidance on how to care for it.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are porcelain veneers permanent or reversible?
Porcelain veneers are considered a long-term, non-reversible treatment because a thin layer of enamel is removed to make room for them. With good care, they can last many years, and when they eventually need to be refreshed or replaced, we’ll plan that update so your smile stays looking its best.
How do I take care of my veneers?
You care for veneers almost the same way you care for natural teeth: brush twice a day, floss daily, and keep up with your regular checkups and cleanings. Avoid chewing on ice, pens, or very hard foods with veneered teeth, and let us know if you grind or clench so we can protect your veneers with a custom night guard if needed.
Can I get veneers on just my top teeth?
Yes, many patients choose porcelain veneers only for the upper teeth that show most when they smile. During your consultation, we’ll look at how your upper and lower teeth meet and smile together to decide whether treating just the top teeth—or both arches—will give you the most natural result.
Do porcelain veneers stain or discolor over time?
High-quality porcelain veneers are very stain-resistant and usually stay the same shade for many years, even if you drink coffee, tea, or red wine. Keeping your natural teeth clean and bright with regular whitening and cleanings helps your veneers blend in and keeps your whole smile looking fresh.
What’s the difference between veneers and crowns?
Porcelain veneers cover only the front surface of your teeth and are mainly used for cosmetic changes, while crowns cover the entire tooth and are used when more strength and protection are needed. At Zurcher Dental Esthetics, we’ll recommend veneers, crowns, or a mix of both based on how healthy your tooth is and how much change you want in your smile.
How many veneers do I need?
It depends on how many teeth show when you smile and what you want to change. Some patients choose 2–4 veneers to fix a few key teeth. Others choose 6–10 (or more) for a fuller makeover. We’ll show you options with photos and digital previews so you can decide what feels right.
Will getting veneers hurt?
Most patients are surprised by how easy the process feels. We use local anesthetic during tooth preparation, and any soreness afterward is usually mild and brief. Our team checks in with you at every step to keep you comfortable.
How long do porcelain veneers last?
With good home care and regular checkups, porcelain veneers often last 10–15 years or more. Avoid chewing ice or biting directly on very hard objects, and tell us if you grind your teeth—we may recommend a night guard to protect your investment.
How much do veneers cost?
The cost depends on how many teeth we treat and how complex your case is.
At your complimentary consultation, we create a custom plan, give you a detailed estimate, and review payment and financing options. Many patients choose to start with the most visible teeth and build from there over time.
